The
Top Banana Kids Club began in 1987 and was created to honor kids
ages 7 through 17 years of age that have gone above and beyond
in four areas: academic, athletic, volunteerism and entrepreneurship.
Once a year one child is chosen to receive the "Top Banana" kids'
award in each of these categories from nominations from their
peers, parents, teachers and or community leaders by emailing
us their story at info@bananalady.com.
The 2008 deadline for nomination submissions for the "Top Banana"
kids' awards is Dec. 14th. Winners will be notified Dec. 14, 2008
and will receive a very special "Top Banana" trophy, Banana Lady's
latest CD and a "Top Banana" T-Shirt along with recognition if
they so desire on the website. When nominating a child please

to keep in touch with fans, offer nutrition tid bits, make announcements
of CD, DVD and book releases, list Banana Lady appearances near
you and have a forum for kids and parents to write in with comments.
Every month there is a fun question kids can write in and answer
as well as write in and contribute their own healthy recipes they
like or share a fun new way to exercise they've invented to go
along with our Family Health and Wellness Campaign.
Question of the month for April is: "What vitamins do you
get from eating a banana?" |
